Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry recently went on BBC for an interview while discussing the ongoing situation between India and Pakistan he emphasized he the conflict is still intact and it can be ignited at any time, He also mentioned that India wrongly accused Pakistan for pahalgam attacks if they has proofs about Pakistan involvement they should present them to the world instead they chose the path of aggression and attacked on the night of 6th and 7th may
DG ISPR states we made it very clear that we are a peace loving nation. We want peace and stability in this region but if they attack the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan then Pakistan has every right to defend its territorial integrity.
He also mentioned that a nuclear war between India and Pakistan would be sheer absurdity and foolishness. It will not only impact both countries but it will affect billions of people.
He mentioned during the interview that even though days have passed since the Pak-Ind military conflict, their idea is still propagating the same ideology. They are not ready to ask their government about security failure or hw the pahalgam incident occurred instead they are just focused on accusing Pakistan.
DG ISPR says this whole situation seems to be India’s attempt to improve internal politics. This fuss of war is ignited to gain political benefits.
He also appalled Donald Trump and other external forces for their role in de-escalating the tension between two nuclear powers.
