Islamabad: While addressing the National Assembly, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that Pakistan will not accept any pressure on its national security and is fully prepared to respond 200% to any kind of aggression.
He stated that most countries around the world are either standing with Pakistan or remaining neutral, with only one or two showing mild support for India. He added that Pakistan maintains daily communication with Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and China.
Khawaja Asif mentioned that the recent drone attacks were merely attempts to assess Pakistan’s defensive positions, but in the coming days, the world will witness how Pakistan’s brave armed forces respond strongly to the enemy.
He further added that Pakistan has shot down five Indian warplanes — a significant milestone in military history. There should be no doubt that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully active, and their defensive operations are ongoing day and night.
The Defence Minister emphasized that India’s public and political morale has weakened, and even its closest allies are not standing by it. He reassured the Pakistani nation that the enemy’s ambitions have completely thwarted.
Khawaja Asif concluded by stating that Pakistan’s forces are acting responsibly and will not target Indian civilians, but the entire nation and military are fully ready to respond effectively to any hostile move.
