American President Donald Trump said that he would work with India and Pakistan to resolve the decades-long Kashmir issue. In a recent statement, he mentioned that not only would diplomatic cooperation with both Pakistan and India be increased, but trade relations with both countries would also be improved.
He also stated that the United States played a key role in reducing tensions between India and Pakistan and in persuading both sides to agree to a ceasefire by bringing them to a mutual understanding.
In this regard, Trump confirmed the ceasefire agreement through a message on social media. It should be noted that in response to India’s aggression, Pakistan, under its “Bunyan Marsus” mission, successfully targeted more than 10 locations in India. Trump’s statement comes at a time when the Kashmir issue is receiving global attention, and various countries, including the United Nations, are making efforts to resolve the dispute peacefully.
