According to the announcement made by the Turkish Presidency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan contacted Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif over phone and conveyed Turkey’s complete solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of the recently happened Indian attacks.
As per statement President Erdogan declares during his conversation that Turkey is with Pakistan in the current crisis and appreciated Pakistan’s “peaceful and restrained stance”.
President Erdogan endorsed Pakistan’s request for an inquiry into the attack in occupied Kashmir last month and said that Turkey is ready to aid in any way possible to relieve tensions. According to his statement Erdogan reaffirmed that he will keep up his diplomatic efforts to ease tensions.
